Following the recent lawsuit filed by former competitor Jester, the Unified Boxing Association Committee has issued an official response addressing the allegations of financial misconduct and unfair treatment.

“The Unified Boxing Association stands by its fighters, staff, and operations,” the statement begins. “While we respect Jester’s dedication to his craft and his contributions to the sport, these claims present a distorted view of recent organizational restructuring and the broader UBA Coin transition process.”

The Committee emphasized that all internal financial practices were conducted transparently and with the long-term stability of the league in mind. It also reaffirmed UBA’s ongoing commitment to fair pay, fighter safety, and open communication with both athletes and fans.

“We understand frustration during periods of change,” the statement continues. “However, public accusations built on speculation undermine not only the organization, but the hundreds of fighters who continue to compete honorably under its banner.”

The UBA added that it welcomes a full legal review of its operations and is fully prepared to share every record, statement, and booking file with the Digital Athletic Commission, the governing body assigned to oversee the case. The Committee reaffirmed that it has nothing to hide and looks forward to a fair evaluation of the facts.

The Committee also acknowledged the growing strain this situation has placed on its leadership team and financial operations, clarifying that the league has been operating at a significant loss for months due to production costs, event sponsorships, and fighter guarantees.

“We have continued to pay our athletes, fund broadcasts, and push the sport forward while operating below profit,” the statement reads. “To suggest that exploitation or greed is behind our struggles is not only inaccurate, it’s deeply unfair to everyone working behind the scenes to keep this league alive.”

Despite reaffirming that it will not settle privately and will appear in court as scheduled within two weeks, the UBA has announced a gesture of good faith toward its fighters and community.

During this weekend’s Fight Night 21, the main event Boady vs Jester will carry a unique community clause aimed at giving back to those still supporting the league through the controversy.

If Jester wins, UBA will activate a Universal Fighter Pay Increase of 10,000 VC per day for all registered fighters for one week leading up to the Winter Tournament.

If Boady wins, current pay structures will remain in place as the UBA focuses on stability and preparation for court.

“This is not a settlement,” the Committee concluded. “It’s a reminder that our purpose has always been to build opportunity, not destroy it. We will continue to stand by our fighters, even when it costs us to do so.”

As the VR boxing world turns its attention to Fight Night 21, the dispute between Jester and the UBA now moves beyond speculation — first to the ring, and soon, to the courtroom.
