UBAe Season 1 — Week 2 Recap March 26–28, 2026
OVERVIEW
Week 2 of UBAe Season 1 produced two canceled matches, two full five-bout series, and a clear early picture of which teams are capable of closing. UBA Fight Night 26 ran concurrently on Saturday, where the BMF title changed hands in a dominant main event performance.
DAY 1 — Thursday, March 26
UKFC UNCS vs Team Rag Tags — CANCELED | Result: W — UKFC UNCS
Team Rag Tags were unable to field a roster for the second consecutive week. UKFC UNCS receive the automatic win. Rag Tags' recurring availability issues are emerging as a season-level concern that league operations will need to address.
jUnC vs Team Sheath Elite — Sheath Elite win 3-2
Pre-match analysis from the broadcast team indicated the matchup was closer than the skill gap suggested on paper, citing stylistic factors that could favor jUnC in individual bouts. That read proved accurate.
Asilajyi opened with Ronan, who took the first bout against Smokin'em on a decision. Ronan controlled range effectively and landed the cleaner work throughout, giving jUnC an early 1-0 lead.
Sheath Elite responded through Bloob, who recorded back-to-back KO finishes in rounds two and three to swing the series to 2-1. Both stoppages came quickly, shifting momentum decisively. Maki followed with a decision win over Ronan in round four to extend the lead to 3-1. The fifth bout ended in a draw — which under UBAe scoring adds one point to each team's series total, making the final result 3-2 Sheath Elite.
Sheath Elite move to 2-0. They have yet to win a series cleanly, but have closed both contested matchups.
DAY 2 — Friday, March 27
Champions United vs Team MUDS — CANCELED | Result: W — Team MUDS
Champions United were unable to field a roster. Team MUDS receive the walkover win. Champions United have now absorbed forfeit losses in back-to-back weeks, sitting at 0-2 without having competed. MUDS are 1-1 on the season entirely through automatic results.
Ring Reapers vs The Five Great Kage — Ring Reapers win 3-2
The broadcast team flagged before this match that the outcome would be heavily determined by Sloove's pick sequencing — specifically, whether Ring Reapers could engineer favorable stylistic matchups rather than playing a straight skill-ladder approach. The series played out exactly along those lines and went the full five bouts.
Kage opened with Contour. Ring Reapers countered with Yo Boi, who secured an early KO finish to put Reapers up 1-0.
The broadcast team noted in their analysis that Yo Boi's style — high-damage output with an emphasis on finishing over technical point-fighting — created a structurally difficult matchup for Contour's outboxing approach.
The series continued to trade wins through the middle rounds. Jester won a bout for Kage to level things. Contour returned later in the series and defeated Warthog in a bout the broadcast team scored in Contour's favor across all three rounds, with Kage regaining ground. Ultimately Ring Reapers sealed the 3-2 series win before the fifth bout concluded. The broadcast team identified Yo Boi as the series' standout performer on the winning side.
The post-match press conference featured Jester and Contour from Five Great Kage. Contour addressed the Yo Boi matchup directly, stating the team's strategy was built around absorbing that loss and winning the surrounding bouts — which held. Jester was measured ahead of their Week 3 matchup against Sheath Elite, declining to make specific predictions but noting areas where he felt Kage had competitive advantages.
WEEK 2 RESULTS SUMMARY

WEEK 3 PREVIEW
Five Great Kage vs Sheath Elite is the marquee matchup next week. Both teams are coming off five-bout series wins and represent the strongest on-field competition the season has produced so far. UKFC UNCS vs Champions United will also be a significant data point — Champions United need to get on the board.
UBA FIGHT NIGHT 26 — Saturday, March 28
Main Event: Tomato def. Roatan — BMF Championship
Tomato claimed the BMF title with a dominant five-round performance. Broadcast scorecards had round one at 10-7 and round two at 10-8 in Tomato's favor. Roatan was dropped in the later rounds as Tomato pressed for a finish. The final result was a unanimous decision, with Tomato becoming the new BMF champion.
Post-fight, Tomato acknowledged the light heavyweight division as the natural home for the BMF title and indicated openness to active defenses. Roatan expressed no interest in holding the title up through inactivity and was gracious in defeat. Early contender discussion from the broadcast team centered on Adonis, Yo Boi, and Maki as candidates for the first title shot.
Undercard Results
Pooper def. Zion — Decision. Pooper demonstrated consistent movement and landed a significant knockdown at the end of round one. The broadcast team highlighted him as a legitimate prospect in the division following the performance.
M4 def. JMan — KO, Round 2. M4 was in control from the opening exchanges. The broadcast had round one at 10-7 before the finish arrived early in round two.
JBaca def. Ghostly — Decision. JBaca remains undefeated at 5-0. Controlling footwork and ring positioning were the consistent factors throughout — Ghostly was unable to cut off the ring reliably enough to get his offense working at volume. JBaca's unbeaten record in the middleweight division continues to be one of the more notable storylines across both leagues.
Next UBAe action: Week 3, UKFC UNCS vs Champions United and jUnC vs Team MUDS.
